Jan 2025 - CSE Education Systems joined the Infinity Group

Computer Systems in Education (CSE)

CSE is a specialist supplier of ICT solutions and services to the education market. Our aim as a company has always been to foster close working partnerships with our customers, and many of our partner schools have been doing business with us for more than 25  years.

Such long-term loyalty demonstrates that we continue to deliver appropriate solutions and levels of service, year after year.

CSE is accredited under the Crown Commercial Services framework RM6103.

CSE has always, and continues, to develop and implement innovative products and practices to assist schools and academies in the effective use of IT in the classroom and in administration. Recent examples include an AI based support agent within the comprehensive Service Manger product, and advanced central triage for Managed Service clients.

The company has been trading profitably for 30 years and has had an extremely stable financial track record. The company is, and always has been, self-funded. Until January of 2025 it remained in the ownership of its founders. In January 2025 CSE became part of the Infinity Technology Group. Under this new arrangement CSE retains all its current structure and staff with their years of expertise not only of IT but of the education market place.

The Infinity Technology Group

Based in Oxford, the Infinity Technology Group is a growing group of technology companies, currently comprising 16 entities. Although most of it’s operations are in the UK, it also includes operations across the rest of Europe and in Japan. The founder Hirohisa Iwasaki, routinely known as Hiro, is a UK based Japanese entrepreneur who has developed the Group over the last 30 years.

Each company within the group operates in an autonomous manner with their individual organisations and management teams, with the Oxford based Head Office providing administrative and marketing support.

As well as IT support Infinity Group companies are also involved in software development, recruitment and specialist hardware supply. A portfolio that mirrors many of the activities of CSE but not in the education market.

CSE and Infinity had been in discussion for a while before finally agreeing the terms of an agreement. Part of that agreement is that Mary and Gordon Derham, CSE’s founders, will be staying on in an advisory and consultative capacity. CSE will benefit from membership of the Infinity Group by increased access to financial and administrative resources, as well as the ability to utilise the wider expertise of the whole group.

As a part of the Infinity Technology Group CSE will remain solely focused on the education market.
